We are looking for a Supervisor-Production to maintain a professional, safe, clean, and dependable environment, and can work and coordinate alongside other departments.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe and injury-free work environment by ensuring health and safety procedures are understood and executed by all employees.
- Coordinate and effectively communicate activities with other plant leadership to plan and manage daily and weekly schedules to meet production goals.
- Prioritize work orders, maintain quality requirements, and assure an even flow of work through all the departments.
- Coordinate production activities, provide direct oversight of production employees, approve time records, communicate and enforce company policies.
- Engage in employee development activities; make recommendations on employee hire, promotion and disciplinary action.
- Conduct employee training on all equipment, protocols, production standards, safety regulations and waste control on an ongoing basis.
- Analyze production performance, identify improvement opportunities, make recommendations for process and equipment improvements, establish and execute goals.
- Supervise efficient operation of equipment including the inspection of materials, products and equipment to detect and/or prevent malfunctions.
- Request materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services as needed.
- Know and follow policies and procedures of the company.
- Share information that would benefit other members of the team and find ways to improve the delivery of service to our customers.

Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 5+yrs.previous experience in a supervisory capacity at a corrugated or containerboard manufacturing facility.
- Proven record in coaching, training, teambuilding, performance development, and conflict resolution.
- Established knowledge of paper packaging manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures including throughput, continuous improvement, safety practices, and quality control.
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle numerous details, deadlines, and requests simultaneously.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize assignments.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals throughout the company on departmental procedures, policies, and requests for information.
- Able to work flexible hours as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively lead and communicate with production team and plant leadership.
- Previous work experience as a member of a team with an understanding of how critical communication and information sharing between team members is to the organization.
